Electric Service Crews are continuing to reconnect service throughout the day and will also support the 6 contract tree crews working to clear power lines. In some cases, Loveland Water and Power (W&P) crews are awaiting confirmation from customers that a licensed electrical contractor has repaired or replaced the property owner’s electric meter enabling power to be reconnected. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity for March Monday, March 1 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 17 and US Highway 287. There was heavy damage to both vehicles. One person was injured and transported. Tuesday, March 2 BFPD responded to a reported gas leak on First Street. The business owner had cut a line while drilling a hole with his tractor.
