Electric Service
Crews are continuing to reconnect service throughout the day and will also support the 6 contract tree crews working to clear power lines. In some cases, Loveland Water and Power (W&P) crews are awaiting confirmation from customers that a licensed electrical contractor has repaired or replaced the property owner’s electric meter enabling power to be reconnected.
The W&P dispatch center at 663-1043 will remain open during the daytime to receive calls from customers regarding outages, power line concerns and to answer questions.
Tree Limbs
All three tree limb drop-off sites—Recycling Center, Centennial Park and Agilent east entrance—have received very frequent use. All three sites will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. every day until further notice. For more information, the Solid Waste Division office at 962-2529 will be open until 5 p.m. Saturday to provide information.
Residents are reminded they are responsible for clearing limbs from their private property and must not drag their branches to the curb. City crews will not pick up those branches.
A map showing cleared city streets and right-of-ways will be posted each evening at www.cityofloveland.org.
City crews removed overhanging limbs and downed branches from18 homes of frail senior or disabled residents on Friday. Others needed similar assistance are invited to call 962-2529 today or Monday.
