Jail Deputies Discover Weapons
Date: October 5, 2011 Larimer County Jail deputies successfully ended a plot by inmates making sharpened metal pieces, commonly known as shanks. Yesterday, while on a routine check in one of the outdoor recreation areas, a Larimer County Jail corporal heard the distinct sound of metal scraping on concrete coming from another recreation area. The Coloradoan.com DA clears officers in connection with fatal Berthoud shooting By Trevor Hughes Berthoud police Chief Glen Johnson was the first arriving officer to Haskew's home shortly after 9 p.m. on Nov.8. Johnson said the wife had reported Haskew had been drinking and was initially refusing to let her leave.
