   Kenneth L. Fox   June 25, 1926 – April 23, 2013   Kenneth Lee Fox was born in Zenith, Kansas as the last child in a family of 7 children to Gertrude and Fred Fox. He loved to tell that he was born on the birthday of his oldest brother, June 25, 1926. Ken was well respected and very active in his small farm community as an Eagle Scout, and as an athlete in basketball, football and track. Edward J. Lempka, 89, of Berthoud, CO passed away on August 28, 2010.  He was born July 1, 1921 near St. Mary, Nebr. to Lawrence and Anna Kontny Lempka. Melvin “Mel” Walter Brown of Johnstown died on April 24 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He was 83. He was born July 3, 1925 to Robert and Cora (Niven) Brown, on the family farm southwest of Johnstown. His father died in August 1941 of injuries sustained from a runaway team of horses, and his family moved into town after that.
