WICHITA, Kan. - Air Force baseball dropped a 6-0 contest at #24 Wichita State Wednesday afternoon at Eck Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 11-12 on the season, while the Shockers improved to 15-6. Five Wichita State pitchers combined to shutout the Falcons, scattering eight hits. Shocker starting pitcher Zach Beringer (1-1) picked up the win, striking out five in 3.2 innings. Beringer was given the win based on a predetermined pitch count. WICHITA, Kan. - Air Force baseball dropped a 10-2 contest at #24 Wichita State Tuesday night at Eck Stadium. The loss snapped the Falcons’ four-game winning streak and dropped the team to 11-11 on the season, while the Shockers improved to 14-6. Wichita State led 5-0 early on, after scoring three in the first and two in the third, and was never really threatened by the Falcons.
