Berthoud Fire to host 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
September 11, 2011, 9 a.m to 2 p.m. The Berthoud Fire Protection District will host a special memorial ceremony, open house, and picnic to honor the lives of those who fell on September 11, 2001. Larimer County Sheriff's Office investigators have arrested two Livermore, Colorado residents after discovering a substantial marijuana grow at their rental home in the 1700 block of County Road 82E. The Thompson School District is accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-Off Program. Eligibility requirements for the program are: Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. Applicants must own and live in the home for which they are applying. Sidewalk art in Loveland
Saturday, September 10: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 60 artists will be creating sidewalk art on 5th Street this coming Saturday. This first of its kind event in this area is a fundraiser for the Alternatives to Violence (ATV) Safehouse project. The sidewalks on both sides of 5th Street between Lincoln and Cleveland Avenues will be the canvasses for Pastel drawings.
