September 11, 2011, 9 a.m to 2 p.m.   The Berthoud Fire Protection District will host a special memorial ceremony, open house, and picnic to honor the lives of those who fell on September 11, 2001.   The Thompson School District is accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-Off Program. This first of its kind event in this area is a fundraiser for the Alternatives to Violence (ATV) Safehouse project.
