The Rocky Mountain Light Sport Aircraft Expos is coming to Front Range Airport on Saturday & Sunday, May 19 & 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) are the hottest new category of aircraft. These sporty two-seaters aircraft are uncomplicated and easy to fly and require only a Sport Pilot license pilot rating to fly. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for April 2012 Monday, April 2 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Garfield Avenue. This was a two-vehicle accident with minor damage to the vehicles. One occupant was injured, complaining of neck and back pain. Tuesday, April 3 BFPD assisted a citizen on Bunyan Avenue. December 25, 1953 – May 3, 2012 Vicki L. Smith of Berthoud died May 3, 2012 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. She was 58 years old. She was born December 25, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Jesse and Wilma Jean (Parker) Starns. Her family moved to Boulder, Colorado where she attended Boulder High School.
