Military moms start support group

Three military mothers started a local support group for each other and for their families. Laural Downer and Beth Sterck are the founding members and as one of their first projects, they want to send packages to local service men and women serving overseas. Downer and Lexi Dipentino addressed the Berthoud Trustees on Tuesday evening to explain their plan. Berthoud High School 2010 graduate Abigail Yeagle, an Earlham College first-year and student and daughter of Theresa and Mark Yeagle of Berthoud, has been selected as a Bonner Scholar this semester at the college. The Bonner Scholars Program is a four-year developmental leadership program that is rooted in community service. Berthoud Police Beat October Friday, October 1 Police responded to a report of liquor in Berthoud Park, but found no violation. Two barking dog complaints were received between 7:30 and 8 p.m. The first in the 800 block of Longview, the second on Sage Place. Both pet owners were give verbal warnings. DATE:            October 25, 201 The Larimer County Coroner has released the identification of the decedent found near Estes Park on October 23, 2010 as that of Kathy Adams, age 57, who was reported missing on October 12, 2010.  The Coroner has ruled her death to be homicide.
