Spring Sports Awards: BHS Pays Tribute to Athletes,

Police Beat: May 21, 2009

Tuesday, May 12 Four dogs were reported running loose near Fourth Street and Capital Avenue at 8:37 a.m. In the early afternoon, a caller on Sage Place reported a dog escaping from their yard into another yard and then disappearing. A local business owner called to complain about people using the business’s dumpster. Using the vehicle license number, the police contacted the owner and were told the Cub Scouts had done a cleanup and picked up trash all over Town and put it in that dumpster. ... Full Story

Fire Beat: May 21, 2009

Monday, May 11 BFPD assisted with a walk-in patient complaining of chest pain. TVEMS responded to the station and took over the patient’s care. BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call at the Berthoud Living Center for a patient having breathing difficulties. The patient was transported for further care. Tuesday, May 12 BFPD responded with Mountain View Fire to a single-car accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 248. There were four injured passengers, two adults and two children. All the ... Police Beat: May 14, 2009

Tuesday, May 5 Police made 10 traffic stops during the day, responded to juveniles hanging out behind the Pizza Hut all day. The CEO also tried to capture two dogs running loose on Highway 56 just east of First Street. The dogs belonged at 110 Welch Ave and the owner was cited for dogs at large.
