Tuesday, May 5 BFPD responded to a grass fire on CR 12. The fire crew assisted with an unauthorized burn, which had gotten out of control. The owner was advised to have a burn permit for future burning. Wednesday, May 6 BFPD assisted TVEMS and Berthoud Police with a medical call on S. CR 17. The patient was transported. A: Organic amendments include sphagnum peat moss, wood chips, grass clippings, straw, compost, manure, biosolids, sawdust and wood ash. Inorganic amendments include vermiculite, perlite, tire chunks, pea gravel and sand. Not all of the above are recommended by CSU; some can cause problems. A short time later he and 186 men of the 4th Division, Company I, were marching through Europe, digging foxholes and trenches, engaging in combat, fighting and dying. Only 13 returned. Tuesday, April 28 A resident near Seventh Street and Capitol Avenue reported seeing two men nearby looking through the scope on a large gun. He said it was as large as a rifle, but was not a rifle. The officer met with the caller and waited in his yard for some time, but saw nothing. A motorist called to complain about a white van parked at Spartan Avenue and County Road 17.
