The Berthoud and Highland boys high school basketball teams learned that fact on Tuesday evening as the Spartans routed the Huskies 67-45. Boys and Girls Teams Fall to Eaton By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer   Both the Berthoud High girls and boys basketball teams lost their respective contests with the Eaton Reds on Tuesday evening. The boys team lost 70-56 while girls fell 62-42. The losses are first of the season both Spartan teams in 3A Patriot League play.       April 12, 1960 – January 8, 2012 Trudi Lynn Hershman, of Berthoud, Colorado, passed away on January 8, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Sandy and Jess Gingery in Longmont, Colorado, on April 12, 1960. Trudi graduated from Berthoud High School in 1978, and married David Hershman on October 1, 1977.
