Don L. Ganter, Sr. July 28, 1923 – May 25, 2010 Don L. Ganter, Sr. of Berthoud, passed away May 25, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 86. Don was born on July 28, 1923 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Lawrence and Alice (Verdow) Ganter. Don served in the US Army during WWII from 1942 to 1945 with the 728 Bombardment Squadron of the 482 Bombardment Group. On June 26, 1943 he married Jo Huber in Fort Collins, Colorado. Realities for Children Poker Run comes to Berthoud
Fickel Park will be seeing 3,000 motorcyclists on Sunday, May 30. It is all part of the Realities for Children motorcycle rally and poker run. There will be music and refreshments and Berthoud folks are welcome to attend. Realities for Children is dedicated to serving the unmet needs of abused and neglected children in Larimer County.
