Berthoud: November 9, 2010 The Berthoud Trustees moved through their agenda quickly on Tuesday night, finishing the session in slightly over 45 minutes. Speaking in the Citizen Participation time, Lexi DiPentino and Laurel Downer told the board about their new group, Berthoud Military Family Support. Berthoud on the verge of real estate boom? According to a recent article in the Norther Colorado Business Report and a corresponding interview on KUNC radio that is the case. The article says, among other things, that construction will begin on the Safeway store next year, with an opening in 2012. That was certainly news to Mayor Tom Patterson.
