Curtis Samuel Wilson of Loveland, formally of Berthoud, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2015 in Loveland, at the age of 86. Curtis was born on December 23, 1928 to Roy and Mabel Wilson in Stevens County, Kansas. He graduated from Elk City High School in 1947. He then moved on to Colorado to follow construction work. Walter “Pops” Frederick Meyer passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born in Pender, Nebraska, on August 10, 1920, to August and Ida Meyer. He was the youngest of 11 children. He farmed his family’s land until 1962 when he moved to Loveland. In 1970, he married and started a family with Carmen Powell and her four children. Leah M. Moore, 97, of Loveland died peacefully at her daughter’s home October 8, 2013. She was born March 30, 1916 in Severance, Colorado, to Fred and Katherine Brunner. Leah graduated from Eaton High School in 1934 and graduated with a Nursing degree at Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1937.
