Winners announced in Berthoud Schools Fund Writing Contest

In the age of abbreviated Twitter messages writing may become a lost art, but some of Berthoud’s youth can still put a sentence together . The Berthoud Schools Fund (BSF) challenged Berthoud students to write about how the technology provided by the money raised at the last two Berthoud Bashes has influenced their education. Berthoud High School and Turner Middle School Combined Choir concert - This will be a combined choral concert on Tues. March 1 at 7:00 pm in the Berthoud High School auditorium. Turner Takes Two Trophies at District Spelling Bee

By Thomas N. Berthoud’s Turner Middle School sent four students to compete in the district spelling bee last Saturday at Walt Clark Middle School in Loveland. These students coached by Colleen Bowker, were Hannah Stippich, Karsten Bump, Ken Kubik and Olivia Conde. Three of these students placed in the top four; Hanna Stippich tied for fourth place, Olivia Conde received third place, and Ken Kubik placed second.
