Clarence “CR” Svendsen, 90, died April 23, 2016 at his home in Berthoud. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Anna Svendsen, sister-in-law Edna (Svendsen) Papik and brothers Howard, Laverne and Earl Svendsen. He is survived by sons Brian Svendsen of Larkspur, Colorado and Mark Svendsen of Castle Rock; grandchildren Kathryn (Svendsen) Adams, Tasha Svendsen and Nicole Svendsen. Alicia Lentz dies at Denver Hospital
Denver Alicia Lentz, a 2009 graduate of Berthoud High School and a student at the University of Northern Colorado, died Wednesday at the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, a hospital spokeswoman said Friday. Lentz was a junior studying ecology and evolutionary biology. The UNC Mirror reported that Lentz died of a brain aneurysm. She played mellophone in the Pride of the Rockies marching band. The University of Northern Colorado hosted its fall graduation ceremonies Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11, at Butler-Hancock Hall.
