Workforce Center Offering Spring and Summer Activities for Youth

The Larimer County Workforce Center will be offering a variety of activities designed for young adults this spring and summer. Opportunities for youth are as follows:

The Larimer County Youth Conservation Corps (LCYCC) is now accepting applications for two employment positions focused on youth ages 16-24. If working full-time over the summer completing conservation projects with a team of your peers sounds appealing to you, log onto our website for an application; http://www.larimerworkforce.org/Summer_Opportunities_2011.php .

Summer Youth Employment- Interested youth, ages 16-18, will complete work readiness training to prepare them for a part-time summer employment opportunity with local businesses partnering with the Workforce Center. Applications for this program can be found on our website.

Getting Started with Entrepreneurships- Youth ages 14 and older have the opportunity develop their own summer business plan to earn money. Applications for this unique program are on our website

Career Road Trips- Youth ages 14 and older will have the opportunity to tour local businesses in our community. Learn what employers expect of our future labor force and develop a better understanding of your future career pathways.
