Scoring in the Berthoud Girls game was similar to the boys game. The Lady Spartans out scored the Sabercats 37 to 20 in the first half and held on to win 56 - 50. Spartan Boys Top Fossil Ridge 75 to 60

The Spartan varsity took a commanding lead in the first quarter, out scoring Fossil Ridge nearly 5 to 1. The Spartans dominated the boards and forced several turnovers and moved the ball quickly into scoring position. Fossil Ridge managed to score 15 points in the second period but Berthoud put down 20 and led 43-20 at the half. The contract for developing the un-needed but expensive web site will go to an out of town contractor.
