Premiering in 2007, the Festivus Film Festival was created to promote high-quality independent films and filmmakers to the Denver public. The festival is not only celebrating its fourth year providing incredible international films to the public but it recent approval as a non-profit organization.
The Festivus Film Festival was recently named by MovieMaker Magazine as, “one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the Nation. The 2011 promises to be the best yet. This all-encompassing entertainment event will be presenting films at the Oriental Theater and the Bug Theatre, and will include nightly parties, local bands and events at a variety of other venues around Denver.
Featuring comedies, documentaries, horror, music videos, animations, shorts, experimentals and more, there is something for all tastes in the upcoming edgy program. According to Festival Director Tim DeMasters, “we have a diverse selection of cutting edge films you won’t see anywhere else. Our audience grows every year because people love the films we select.”
