  September  1 - 6 Tuesday, September 1 Squad 61 responded to the 300 block of Michigan Avenue for a lift assist. A 73-year-old man was found lying on his living room floor. He had no complaints of injuries due to his fall. The man was helped into his chair. Patient refused to be transported. Squad 61 responded to the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue for a lift assist.   September 1 - 6   Criminal Impersonation / Felony Warrant: 6th Street and Bunyan Avenue, a driver was contacted for running a stop sign. The driver provided a fictitious name to avoid being apprehended on his Felony Warrant. The driver fled the traffic stop on foot but was chased down and taken into custody. Incident Report August 1-2 Saturday, August 1 Squad 61 dispatched to the TPC Golf Course Clubhouse for a medical assist. TVEMS assumed patient care and cleared Squad 61 from the scene. Engine 61 dispatched to the area of Weld County Road 7 and Weld County Road 46 for a patient with breathing problems. August 1 - 2 Saturday, August 1 Rally / Counter-Protest: Several people planned a Black Lives Matter rally at Fickel Park. Several counter-protesters gathered across the street. For the most part it was peaceful except for the volley of insults going back and forth. Obituary: Helen Louise Starck Snyder

Helen Louise Starck Snyder, age 95, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Countryside Care Center in Rupert, Idaho.  She was born December 1, 1924, in Berthoud, Colorado, to John and Molly Muller Starck.  Helen graduated from Berthoud High, where she was an avid member of the school’s basketball team, the Berthoud Spartans.  She married Frank Snyder on February 10, 1946.  The couple was farming near Niwot, Colorado, when Frank was granted a ...
