Precautionary Evacuation Recommended north and south

Date:   April 5, 2011 At approximately 6:25 p.m. this evening, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office issued a telephone notification to residents along Moondance Way, Red Tail Ridge Way and Stringtown Gulch Road to evacuate the area.   In addition, residents along Lightning Ridge Way, Ohana Way, Deer Path St. and the lower portion of Wildsong Rd. have been contacted to evacuate. BLM Solicits Proposals for Private-Public Partnerships

As part of its ongoing effort to reform the Wild Horse and Burro Program, the Bureau of Land Management announced today that it is soliciting proposals for private-public partnerships to establish wild horse “ecosanctuaries” on non-BLM managed land.
