Precautionary Evacuation Recommended north and south of Crystal Fire area

At approximately 6:25 p.m. this evening, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office issued a telephone notification to residents along Moondance Way, Red Tail Ridge Way and Stringtown Gulch Road to evacuate the area.   In addition, residents along Lightning Ridge Way, Ohana Way, Deer Path St. and the lower portion of Wildsong Rd. have been contacted to evacuate.

These evacuations are precautionary due to increased fire activity in the area.

Residents may contact a LCSO Deputy at the Masonville Store to obtain more information.  The Walt Clark Middle School at 2605 Carlisle Dr. in Loveland is available as a shelter and staffed by the Red Cross.
