The Berthoud Sagebrush Riders 4-H Club is seeking new members. There will be an informational open house at the Berthoud Area Community Center on Monday, January 17 at 6 p.m. Interested children and parents are invited to attend and find out what 4-H is about. 4-H is for city kids too.
Just some of things you can do in 4-H
Age 5-7
Clover Buds – this is an opportunity for the younger ones to learn leadership skills, arts and crafts and even begin a trade they might see an interest in.
Age 8-18
Animal Projects: horse, dog, cat, cattle, swine, poultry, goat, sheep
Projects not involving animals; Sewing, cooking, baking, cake decorating, outdoor adventure, rocketry, leather craft, ceramics, designing clothing, Horseless horse, leadership, shooting sports, fishing, wood working , food preservation, gardening, computers, scrapbooking and many more!
