Floyd S. Sterkel, 87, of Berthoud Colorado passed away November 22, 2017 at Pathways Hospice Care Center in Loveland Colorado, surrounded by his family he loved so much. Floyd was born May 15, 1930 in Gering Nebraska to George and Elizabeth Sterkel. Sisters Julie Hart and Ardell Bath. On January 30, 1970 he married his beautiful bride Dorothy L. Reider.   Jerome (Jerry) Nathan Morlan of Berthoud, Colorado, passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the age of 87. While doing what he liked best, helping a good friend, Jerry accidentally fell and sustained a severe head injury that he could not overcome. Curtis Samuel Wilson of Loveland, formally of Berthoud, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2015 in Loveland, at the age of 86. Curtis was born on December 23, 1928 to Roy and Mabel Wilson in Stevens County, Kansas. He graduated from Elk City High School in 1947. He then moved on to Colorado to follow construction work. Peter Eric Van Kleek, 85, of Berthoud,  died on March 18, 2014 at Broomfield Skilled Facility in Broomfield.  He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1929 to John Raymond and Joan (Hill) Van Kleek. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Peter graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with a degree in Hotel Management. He married Barbara Jane King in June of 1954.   Wilbur “Wil” Austin Heiser, 79, of Loveland died September 13, 2011 at his home. He was born January 15, 1932 near Charleston, Iowa to Andrew and Irma (Burghoffer) Heiser. Wil lived in Longmont from 1966 to 1984, he then moved to Loveland. On January 2, 1999 he married Treva Edwards. He worked as an air-traffic controller at the Longmont FAA Center for 30 years.
