Clinton served with the Navy Seabees for 3 years and served in World War II. Following his service, he went on to work as a mechanical engineer for Great Western Sugar Factory in Colorado. Gary was born to Ray and Betty Brack on October 26, 1946 in Great Bend, Kansas Gary grew up in Fort Morgan, Colorado and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1964. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1966, and served in Fort Lewis, Washington. He married Janet Isert, his first wife, in September of 1967. Bryan and Heidi Short of Berthoud will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary Saturday, Dec. 31. Heidi Horton was united in marriage to Bryan Short on Dec. 31, 1981 in Longmont By Judge Lucero. They have lived in Berthoud since 1991. Bryan is employed as a software engineer. Heidi is a computer technician and student at CU in Boulder.
