It’s Antares, often called the Heart of the Scorpion in the constellation Scorpius. You can’t miss this star because it’s bright and reddish in color. Josh Schumacher advances to state finals

By Gail Schumacher Josh Schumacher competed in the Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge in Berthoud on June 9. He won first place in his age division of 10 and 11-year-old boys. This gave him the chance to go onto the Sectional Final in Longmont on July 11. He won first place in that event and will be competing in the State Final on August 14 at Coca-Cola All Star Park in Lakewood. Press Release: In the mid 1800s, nearly 70,000 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints traveled across the plains from Nebraska and Iowa to the Salt Lake Valley. Most were in wagon trains, but ten companies of pioneers (totaling around 3,000 persons) pushed handcarts containing all of their possessions for more than 1,000 miles.
