FORT COLLINS – The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University will host its annual Open House from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2.
The Open House includes lectures, demonstrations, tours through the hospital and more than 15 display booths filled with information on animals. The Open House is coordinated and run by students in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences’ professional veterinary medicine program.
Hospital tours run throughout the day and are usually 30 to 45 minutes long. The last tours will start at 2:15 p.m. each day. Large groups are encouraged to make reservations for tours by calling (970) 491-7053.

Friday, April 1
9 a.m. – “Benefits of Canine Massage” with Jill Reynolds, certified massage therapist.
11 a.m. – “Aquarium Research and Conservation: The Southern Stingray” with Dr. Krystan Grant, exotics veterinarian at CSU.
1 p.m. – “So You Want to be a Veterinarian…” with Sherry Stewart, dean for Admissions with the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Saturday, April 2
9 a.m. – “Environmental Enrichment for Indoor Cats” with Dr. Jessica Quimby, small animal veterinarian at CSU.
11 a.m. – “Finding Your Dream Horse” with Barb Mason, horse trainer.

Noon – W.O.L.F. Rescue, Sanctuary and Education.

10 a.m. – Colorado Reptile Humane Society.
