Kelsey Lee Falasco, of Berthoud, died on December 14, 2011. She was born on August 27, 1995 to Danny Falasco and Nikki Wells. Raised by her Father and her Grandparents Ron and Judy Falasco and for the last six years by Dwayne and Barbara Hummel. Sister of Jazmyn Lovenburg, Tommie Bartel, Forrest Hummel, Valley Hummel and Cliff Hummel. Sister-in law of Caitlin Hummel and Aunt to Aspen Hummel. Kelsey loved to sing and perform. She had been involved in choir since early grade-school. She was a prolific writer who liked to journal and write songs. She was the President of her 4-H club, the Lucky Clover II and had been a member of 4-H since she was five. Some of her favorite projects were dairy cow, swine, cat and global citizenship.

She loved to travel. Kelsey had been to Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and Canada. In 2010, she spent the summer in Japan through the 4-H exchange program. She made friends everywhere she went. Kelsey had a large group of friends at school and in 4-H.

Kelsey was a loving, compassionate girl. She fell in love with Zachary Payne-Dunkleberger, who passed away from cancer this last October. She helped him in the last year of his life and brought him much joy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, December 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Grace Place in Berthoud. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Berthoud High School Bridge Between Choir, in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
