Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital
FORT COLLINS - The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University will host its annual Open House from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2. The Open House includes lectures, demonstrations, tours through the hospital and more than 15 display booths filled with information on animals. Sam Schleiger gets “Teacher Tuesday” award
Sam Schleiger, a 2003 graduate of Berthoud High School is now a teacher in nearby Milliken. Schleiger was recently honored by country radio station K99 for the "Teacher Tuesday Award". Brian Gary and Susan Moore from K99 came to Milliken Elementary School where Sam teaches 5th grade and surprised him with the award during an all-school assembly. Falcons split Wednesday doubleheader with Creighton
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force baseball split a doubleheader with Creighton Wednesday at Falcon Field. The Falcons (7-10) took game one, 2-1, while the Blue Jays (13-4) took game two 11-9. In game one, the Falcons rallied back from a 1-0 deficit with two runs in the seventh to pull out the win. Nathan Carter tied the game with an RBI single then scored the winning run on a throwing error by the Creighton second baseman on a grounder by Jon McMahon. BLM Solicits Proposals for Private-Public Partnerships
As part of its ongoing effort to reform the Wild Horse and Burro Program, the Bureau of Land Management announced today that it is soliciting proposals for private-public partnerships to establish wild horse “ecosanctuaries” on non-BLM managed land. AFA Men’s Gymnastics claims first-ever top 10
USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – For the first time in program history, the Air Force men’s gymnastics team is ranked in the nation’s top-10. Following a strong weekend of competition, that saw two of the top four team scores of the season, the Falcons are ranked 10th in the GymInfo National Rankings, with a three-score average of 343.300.
