Melva Jean Webb of Berthoud, Colorado passed away August 28, 2014 at North Shore Care Center. She was 86 years old. Jean was born in Lake City, Arkansas to John and Clara (Diggs) Carter. She graduated from Greene County High School in Paragould, Arkansas in 1947 and attended business college in Memphis, Tennessee for one year. On April 22, 1953 she married a handsome sailor, Donald D. Webb from Bartley, Nebraska and they lived most of their 61 years of married life in Colorado. Jean worked for ... Full Story

I am concerned about Berthoud’s unneeded Growth Management Area (GMA) expansions and annexations outside of existing GMA boundaries. Berthoud’s current GMA is over 24,000 acres in size. The scouts have been selling cookies since 1917 and here at the Wamsley house I am proud that we have had 3 generations of Girl Scouts who have participated in this program.
