Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for July 2012 Monday, July 2 BFPD responded to a commercial fire alarm at Berthoud Living Center. There were no signs of fire. The detector had activated from excessive air freshener being used close to the alarm. The alarm was reset and the crew returned to base. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Summary, July 2011 Friday, July 1 BFPD responded to power lines down near County Road 4 and Arleigh Dr. Saturday, July 2 BFPD responded to a grass fire on the west side of Interstate 25. A pickup truck was parked in the area of the quickly spreading grass fire. The fire was extinguished and the truck was not damaged.
