Has the Thompson School District "Reformers" flier, which states it is "Paid for by Americans for Prosperity," appeared on your doorstep ?We should be concerned about how "Reformers" in Thompson are continuing to put "politics first" in our school district. Kim Akeley-Charron has been named executive director of the Thompson Education Foundation beginning July 1. She is currently the marketing coordinator for the City of Loveland’s Cultural Services Department, where she has worked since 2003 in various capacities. Prior to that, she worked at the University of Denver Women’s College as the student services and special events coordinator, the Greenway Foundation and the Museum of Nature and Science, all in Denver.         Students and youth with special needs from Loveland, Berthoud and Fort Collins would like to say a huge, "Thank you" to all of the individuals and businesses who donated to this years Adapted Recreation Activities program. A portion of the money was used to give thirty-seven kids full scholarships to ski at the National sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park.     Berthoud police investigate possible hate crime against exchange student BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4) – A black foreign exchange student from Germany says she was viciously attacked in a park in Berthoud. Now police are calling it a hate crime.
