Felony child abuse in Wellington
Date: April 21, 2011 On March 10, 2011, Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies and emergency medical teams responded to the 3700-block of Henderson Avenue in Wellington, Colorado, on the report that a two-year-old boy had hit his head and was not responsive. Jamie Whittington, the boy's aunt and legal caregiver, was questioned by Larimer County Sheriff's Office investigators. The boy was flown to Children's Hospital in Denver. It was ... Full Story
Crystal Fire suspect booked
Fire Suspect Booked Date: 04/21/2011 Thomas Howie, DOB: 01/03/75, of Fort Collins, turned himself in to the Larimer County Jail today after an arrest warrant was issued for him for Arson, a class four felony. Mr. Howie was booked and released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond. Mr. Howie is alleged to have started the Crystal Fire which ultimately encompassed approximately 2940 acres and destroyed 13 homes.
