With a $43 million budget and 420 employees, the office of sheriff needs a person who has the business experience to handle these. The right person could save taxpayers' money by streamlining the sheriff's department. That person is Carl Bruning. Carl brings the kind of leadership needed to manage an organization effectively. I’ve been watching the Sheriff’s race with some interest over the last several months and I have to ask; who is this Constitutional Carl that recently arrived on the political scene? I’ve attended candidate forums and speaking engagements and to be honest, I’ve yet to hear any real substance from him. It was great to see Carl Bruning and his wonderful supporters at the many events around Larimer County in recent weeks. They were handing out stickers to children and interacting with the public in a positive way that we all can appreciate.
