This year’s competition was held this past weekend in the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was hosted by the Twin City Twisters. Obituary: William H. Schwindt

William “Bill” H. Schwindt, 90, passed away on April 16, 2013, at home. He was born on March 6, 1923 in Berthoud to Henry and Elizabeth (Nolde) Schwindt and grew up in the Berthoud/Loveland area. His parents and grandparents were German-Russian immigrants who settled and farmed in Berthoud. Growing up on a farm, the values of hard work and family traditions were taught to him early, and carried through to the rest of his life. Loveland gymnast takes second place in regional competition

    Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies gymnast Bailie Holst, placed all four events at the Level 10 Region 3 regional competition in Wichita, Kansas this past weekend. Holst scored an impressive 38.050 to earn her second place in the All-Around Competition in the Senior B Division. Holst was also crowned Beam Champion with a score of 9.600.
