Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for March 2012 Thursday, March 1 BFPD was called to Fifth St. for a possible chemical hazard. The crew found two 55 gallon drums filled with unknown chemicals and they advised the responsible party to contact a haz-mat mitigation company to remove the drums. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity for October 2010 Friday, October 1 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 252. There were six vehicles involved in a rear end type accident. There was minor damage to the vehicles and no injuries were reported.
