Eaton Leaves Berthoud Basketball Teams Seeing Red

Boys and Girls Teams Fall to Eaton By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer   Both the Berthoud High girls and boys basketball teams lost their respective contests with the Eaton Reds on Tuesday evening. The boys team lost 70-56 while girls fell 62-42. The losses are first of the season both Spartan teams in 3A Patriot League play. Fallon Leads Las Vegas to Another Home Win

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Colorado Eagles, 5-1, scoring five unanswered goals and getting great work from goaltender Joe Fallon.  Fallon stopped 32 of 33 shots, netting his league-leading 19th win of the season, and improving Las Vegas' record at home to 16-3-2.   BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Colorado Eagles defeated the Bakersfield Condors, 3-1, as Kyle Jones stopped 41 of 42 shots to pick up his 16th win of the season. The victory gave the Eagles a weekend split of the series in Southern California.
