Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies 2013 Chicago Style By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies traveled to Chicago to compete the “2013 Chicago Style” Gymnastics Meet on the famous, Navy Pier. 2012 Xtreme Altitude Fall Classic By Julee Graham Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies had their final meet of the compulsory season before the Colorado State Championships. Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics hosted the “2012 Xtreme Altitude Fall Classic” on November 17 and 18. Premier gymnastics of the Rockies, Level 6 Excel Team, started their season in Colorado Springs on April 14 at the Aerials Spring Fling meet. Haley Anderson placed third on Bars in the Child Division. Leiah Burgess placed fifth on Vault in the Junior A Division. In the Junior B Division, Kadia Odd placed second on Vault and fourth on Bars. By Julee Graham Three gymnasts representing Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies have qualified for the regional level competition. Level 8 gymnasts Rachel Rost and Anisha Alvarado and Level 10 gymnast Bailie Holst are Regionals bound. The level 8 USAG State Championships took place March 25. Rachel Rost and Anisha Alvarado both finished in the top 5 All-Around in the 14 year old Division, with Anisha Alvarado placing 4th and Rachel Rost placing 5th. Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies had their final meet of the season before the State Invitationals. They competed in the 2012 Colorado Sky Invitational at Bear Creek High School, hosted by Jet Gymnastics on March 10 and 11. Level 10 gymnast, Bailie Holst, took the title once again as the All-Around Champion (Score 35.850) in the 16-year-old Division. Holst placed 1st on Vault (9.500) and Beam (9.000).
