Derek Gwin completes basic training
Derek Gwin, a 2010 graduate of Berthoud High School recently graduated from Air Force basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airman Gwin completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Mallards Come Back for Game 1 Win
LOVELAND, Colo. - In their first ever visit to the Budweiser Events Center, the Quad City Mallards scored four unanswered goals to claim a 4-3 overtime win against the Colorado Eagles in Game 1 of the Central Hockey League's Turner Conference Opening Round best-of-5 series.
