Monday, January 3, 2011, at 9 a.m. starts the beginning of a 180-day camping reservation window for Larimer County-managed campgrounds!  Reservations for Memorial Day weekend, Father’s Day weekend, and the first week in July can be made during the first week of January. Reward offered to catch poacher of prized Estes Park bull elk

DENVER, Colo. – The Colorado Division of Wildlife is seeking information on the poaching of a magnificent bull elk in downtown Estes Park on or around October 15. Investigation by the DOW showed that the mature bull, which had maintained a high profile in Estes Park during the rut, was struck by an arrow in the spine near its hind quarters.
