  County offices open in Loveland Dangerous, damaged tree limbs were removed from the front entryway of the 6th Street County building in Loveland today. The work was performed by the City of Loveland Light and Power Department. Schultz Industries will return Friday to clean up the leaves and small branches that remain.     October 24, 2011 Larimer County Sheriff's Office investigators have arrested James William Swets, DOB: 12/21/64 of Fort Collins on multiple felony counts of Sexual Assault against a Child, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Enticement of a Child and Criminal Attempt - Unlawful Sexual Contact.   Issue 1A on the ballot gets a thumbs up from me. Government was instituted to provide protection to the citizens.  The Sheriff’s Office and the County Jail deputies have been doing that quite well in recent years.  The sales tax that funds a significant portion of the jail expires very soon. What started as a drunk driver pursuit by the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) has ended up as a standoff on the northeast edge of Berthoud. According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office the CSP was attempting to stop a motor home that had been called in as a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately  (REDDI) report.
