Berthoud Girls Basketball Tops Northridge 42-28

  Lady Spartans win their fourth game of the season By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer Saturday night the Berthoud High girls basketball team posted a win in their final game of the Spartan Basketball Invite with a 42-28 thumping of Northridge. The victory was the Lady Spartans’ fourth on the season but only their first of the past week’s tournament. Spartans edge Northridge 59-57 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud Spartan boys basketball earned their first victory of the young 2010-11 season in thrilling fashion on Friday night in the Berthoud High gym. The Spartans rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to top the Northridge Grizzlies 59-57.
