Attempted Burglary in Berthoud

On March 8, 2016, at approximately 6:57 pm, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of 3rd Street in Berthoud regarding a possible burglary in progress. The caller advised an unknown man had broken a window at a neighbor’s home. A deputy arrived a few minutes later and located the man behind a nearby home. The crew found that the alarm needed a new battery and they were able to reset the alarm. BFPD responded to I-25, MM 250 South Bound, for a fuel leak.
