Shooting Update

  Date:               2/21/2012 Wendy Vita Hart, DOB: 032055, has been identified as the shooter in a domestic incident that occurred at 1300 Cherry Avenue in Loveland, Colorado on February 12, 2012.  This incident resulted in the death of  her boyfriend Jeffery Buckley.  Ms. Hart called 911 at approximately 9:44 p.m. on February 12 to report the shooting. Larimer County Settles Fairgrounds Lawsuit

        Larimer County has resolved its lawsuit with the designers, manufacturers and builders of the metal buildings at The Ranch, Larimer County’s Fairgrounds. Larimer County will receive $14.8 million for a full release of all claims. The lawsuit stemmed from the December 2006 snowstorms that damaged the roof structures in the buildings. Subsequent forensic engineering studies of the buildings revealed that the buildings were under-designed and could not withstand the ...
