Esteban (Steve) Salazar, Sr., of Mead, Colorado was born in Eaton, Colorado in 1946 to Pedro & Nicolas Salazar, Sr. He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, and minister. December 1 - 3 Friday, Dec. 1 Engine 61 responded to the Apple Leaf Assisted Living to assist TVEMS lifting a patient to her feet and place her in her chair. With the patient off the ground and in her chair, TVEMS stated our assistance was no longer needed. Engine 61 was dispatched to Hwy 287 for a 2-vehicle accident with no injuries. The suspect broke down one door inside and stole a 2017 orange Ford Escape. The stolen Escape has a “Blast From the Past” placard on the front plate and no plate on the rear.
