Death in Berthoud mobil home fire

Berthoud Fire Press Release One person was killed by a fast moving fire that destroyed a mobile home in Berthoud Friday. Units from Berthoud Fire and Loveland Fire were dispatched at 11:20 a.m. to a report of a residential structure fire with one party trapped. Heavy fire was showing from the front side of the home as firefighters made entry to locate the trapped party and extinguish the fire. Attempted Burglary in Berthoud
On March 8, 2016, at approximately 6:57 pm, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of 3rd Street in Berthoud regarding a possible burglary in progress. The caller advised an unknown man had broken a window at a neighbor’s home. A deputy arrived a few minutes later and located the man behind a nearby home.
