Emma Louise Dreith, 85, passed away Oct. 8, 2012 surrounded by four generations of family that loved her. Emma was born January 27, 1927 in Loveland, Colorado to Nellie and Thomas Parsons. After high school Emma married Reuben P. Dreith on Nov. 14, 1943 in Loveland. Emma and Reuben managed their family dairy farm west of Berthoud until 1975. Mary was welcomed home to Heaven with open arms on August 10, 2012. She was born November 2, 1913 in Berthoud, Colorado to John and Margaret Sterkel Krieger. Mary grew up on a farm west of Berthoud and attended school in Berthoud. On December 2, 1934 she married William Kaiser at the First Congregational Church of Loveland. Alban J. Schmidt, 90, of Berthoud, CO passed away August 8, 2012 at Berthoud Living Center. He was born June 23, 1922 in Liebenthal, Kansas to Stephen and Theresa (Wasinger) Schmidt. Al grew up on a farm, graduated from St. Joseph’s Military Academy, in Hays, Kansas and received a MS degree from University of Denver in Mechanical Engineering in 1949. Carolina Sell, 92, of Loveland, CO, died on July 21, 2012 at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Loveland. She was born on December 4, 1919 in Windsor, Colorado, to Jacob and Mary (Kindsfather) Hill. In her early years, Carolina worked as a nanny for the owners of Denver Botanical Gardens.
