Lenora Strachan, 81, of Berthoud, died on March 3, 2014 at her home in Berthoud. She was born on March 8, 1932 in Erick, Oklahoma to Wit Wiley and Beulah (Wells) Warren. Lenora graduated from high school in Porterville, California She married Richard D. Strachan on December 23, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas. Lenora worked as a homemaker, but also had short careers as a telephone operator and a pharmacy clerk, where she also managed a soda fountain. She has lived in Berthoud since 1970. She had ...   Dean G. Anderson, 83, of Berthoud, Colorado, died on February 22, 2014 at home. He was born on June 23, 1930 in Loveland, to Edwin Swan and Helen Josephine (Peterson) Anderson. Dean graduated from Loveland High School in 1948 and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. He married Betty Jo Janssen on September 15, 1950 in Loveland. Fort Collins man sentenced for mortgage fraud

Sysum sentenced to five years in mortgage fraud Greeley, CO – A Fort Collins man convicted in a mortgage fraud scheme was sentenced in Weld County District Court on Wednesday to five years in prison. A jury in December convicted Matthew Sysum (DOB: 08/13/1969) of seven counts of Forgery, a Class 5 felony, and one count of Theft, a Class 3 felony. The scouts have been selling cookies since 1917 and here at the Wamsley house I am proud that we have had 3 generations of Girl Scouts who have participated in this program.
