Leslie Shawn Baird, 42, of Berthoud, Colorado, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born June 14, 1971 in Greeley, Colorado to Gary and Katherine (Katie) Baird. He attended schools in Loveland and Johnstown. Shawn lived his whole life in the northern Colorado area. Shawn faced many challenges in life and never complained about any of his burdens. David and Amanda Latchaw of Loveland are pleased to announce the arrival of their daughters Lily Colette Latchaw and Evelyn Cedar Latchaw. The twins were born on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Medical Center of the Rockies. Lily arrived at 8:22 a.m. weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long. Update: On 12/26/2013 at approximately 1820 hours, the seventy-seven year old male, Gilberto Hurtado (DOB 07/30/36), who had been reported a missing earlier today, was found by citizens in the 4500 block of W. Eisenhower Blvd in Loveland, CO. He was found to be in good spirits and was uninjured. He was returned to his family in Loveland. Leah M. Moore, 97, of Loveland died peacefully at her daughter’s home October 8, 2013. She was born March 30, 1916 in Severance, Colorado, to Fred and Katherine Brunner. Leah graduated from Eaton High School in 1934 and graduated with a Nursing degree at Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1937.
