Deputies Investigate Fatal Truck-Motorcycle Collision
Deputies are investigating a crash that killed one motorcycle rider and seriously injured another. Just before 3 p.m. on April 4, 2024, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls about a serious crash at the intersection of Highway 287 and Berthoud Parkway. LCSO deputies, Berthoud Fire, and Thompson Valley EMS medical crews responded to the scene. Deputies determined that a motorcycle was traveling in the northbound lane of Highway 287. Throughout her life she lived in the country south of the town of Berthoud, Colorado. Shirley was born on December 20, 1924. Mary Ann Ostermiller, beloved sister and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society Loveland Village after a brief illness. January 1-7 Monday, January 1 Engine 61 dispatched to the 400 block of Bimson Avenue for a dumpster fire. E-61 fully extinguished contents of the dumpster.
